Sadly, I’ve not heard either the parody OR the original. For whatever reason R Kelly and the rest of the current hip hop/rap-ish movement seems to have passed me by. The last time I really listened to rap music was The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. OH…or Eminem. I’m down with the Slim Shady. Or something.

I haven’t played anything since Pitfall on the Atari (even though I’m told Pitfall was Activision…whatever that means). I’m a little behind.

I own an Activision. I haven’t unpacked it in at least ten years, but somewhere, I have Pitfall for the Activision in my home. Clearly, I need deep and comprehensive therapy.

I’m not entirely sure I believe the difficulty difference. Rockband (what little I’ve played) was more difficult “for me” than GH3 was at any given point in the game. GH3 on Expert is just insanity. I play on Hard for fun, and I’ll play “Black Magic Woman” by Santana on Medium just for the incredible feeling of playing that song.

As for the mental image, picture a spindly 17-year-old kid, 5’9″ and 135 pounds, really growing his hair out for the first time.

Twice now I’ve laughed during a client call. Dude, that’s just rough to imagine. But Funny. VERY funny.

I have to admit the mental image makes me laugh at inappropriate times.

Is this GH #1? I’ve never played that one. I have GH3 for the 360, but I’ve barely played it. Too busy with Rock Band. I’m about halfway through the Hard tour on drums, and 1/3 of the way through Hard on guitar…stuck on “Suffragette” as I said above.

I’m playing GH3 on my Wii. I never really paid any attention to GH or GH2. I Just got Rock Band for the Wii about two weeks ago. I’m honestly afraid that I’ll never leave my house once I open the box.

I’m still pissed that they don’t offer a solo tour on bass. Grr.

There was a time when I owned all of Weird Al’s CD’s, so I guess I was a bit surprised that I’d NEVER encountered this before. Apparently I’ve fallen so far away from the simple joy’s of my youth that I’m completely out of touch.

AND he and Lisa Marie dedicated an album to Kolob, the star where God lives. And if THAT isn’t the whitest and nerdiest thing you’ve ever heard (and it’s still cool), I don’t know what is.

By the time the SW Holiday Special came on, I was already suffering from burning sinuses after aspirating Dr. Pepper forcefully out my nose. Otherwise THAT would have been the funniest moment.

I carried a fanny pack for the first month of college because it was blazing hot and I had a buttload of shorts with no pockets. I will now light myself on fire.

I have already discussed my fanny pack sins…and yours are worse. In college? Seriously???

And oh yes, come to the GH/RB dark side, mwuhahahahahah!! “Suffragette City” is the bane of my existence right about now.

So I finish GH on “Hard” and move on to “Expert” which should just be reclassified as “Finger Tip Blisters and a WHOLE LOT OF SWEARING” just to give a bit of warning. I LOVE this game, but I’m gonna need an intervention at some point. This CAN’T be healthy.

Nope, no fanny packs. Last time I had a “fanny pack” was this silly thing I got at Disneyland to hold my camera and my wallet. And I didn’t have a lot of things to choose from at the time. That was almost 13 years ago.
